I've also tried these devices connected in various combo's as well as (as described above) unplugging them all and using them one by one.

and was looking at re-instating my Humax FreeTime (FreeSat) box as the TV is sadly not FreeSat certified, but that's sat to one side currently.

Sometimes I swap the PC out for a Toshiba BluRay player.

The PC is on HDMI1, XBox360 on HDMI3 and Nintendo Switch on HDMI4. I'm not using the pass-through (I stopped as part of the issues being described and haven't done so since). The soundbar is the only thing on HDMI2(ARC). I tried a few such combinations, and experienced it with multiple different independent devices. Anecdotally it seemed less often but then it doesn't happen EVERY time you come out of standby, only fairly randomly, but definitely less so since the last Firmware upgrade.

Is there anything else I could try? Has anyone had similar experiences with more positive I've realized a flaw to this approach, it disables HDR on the PC (which is the main reason I have it connected, to watch HDR content) so if this method does work, it would have a the Soundbar is completely taken out of the picture - lets say I am using the Nintendo Switch with the TV's built in speakers, the issue still occurs (of devices not showing up e.g. but I've not gotten that working reliably yet.Īny suggestions or comments welcome. * I've predominantly focused on a just having the Soundbar plugged in via ARC and getting that working with the TV consistently, with everything else unplugged. I don't want to be too harsh to them - they tried, but its not fixed anything sadly.

so that's where the soundbar (a Yamaha YAS-107 in my case) *should* come in.

The picture quality is actually really great, the software is a bit iffy (and Amazon Prime is currently and has always been unusable), and the sound is predictably poor. The reason for returning my Hisense 55U7A? - the U7A basically seems to be faulty by design. I detailed some on my frustrations in the U7A owners thread here, but am now trying a last ditch attempt at casting a wider net for suggestions. I currently have a Hisense 55U7A I am likely intending to return if I can't fix my HDMI connectivity issues. This is for a 55" U7A in my case, but searching this forum it seems to be a broader concern with multiple Hisense TVs.
